This unit has allowed us to completely forego a cooler requiring ice replenishment and facilitated the removal of the freezer compartment in the Dometic refrigerator in our motorhome. We use it exclusively as a freezer and let it run constantly. It takes so little power on the eco setting that I plug it into the 12V AGM chassis battery (Sprinter) where it runs all night with no discernible drain (it would stop if the battery were run down but that's been a moot point). It freezes equally well on AC power with included transformer. It provides a read out of the temperature in the commodious 16 quart compartment - only complaint is that it doesn't display in Fahrenheit. At 10" tall I can store it in the 12" clearance under the bed in found space - I hope it runs forever.

It arrived in a well packaged box. So far, so good. Directions were very easy. This little freezer/'frig surprised me as to how quickly it cooled down from room temperature. I've been testing it for 4 days now and it is holding temp at -14 degrees C. in preparation for a trip and keeping the food frozen. I bought it to go in my Sprinter motor home and it fits very well as space is limited. I am thrilled that I no longer have to buy bags of ice on the road to try and keep food safe. I'll follow up when I get back from my trip. For now, Great Product!!
We're back from our trip of 3 weeks. The ACOPOWER X15A did an excellent job of keeping everything frozen. I kept the unit at one setting and it only fluctuated when I opened the lid to remove or insert an item. We vacuum sealed measured portions of food to conserve on space and for quick access. We only used it as a freezer so don't know how that would work as a 'frig but the temp fluctuations self-adjusted very quickly and the unit used very little power and was very quiet. Additional note, 6 months later: Still no problems, very satisfied with the product!!
