I am happy with my acopower 400 w power supply, however small dissapointment in that my solar cables do not fit into my 100w solar panel, and no cables to hook up a solar controller email me if you can get me the proper cables larrybelton@hot mail.com
I bought the Acropower 400Wh Generator power along with the 120W portable panel. I live in Haiti, (the beautiful country, no the sh**h**e one) and I just built a little house in the countryside for the week-ends with no AC, hence the need of a product like this. First I was frustrated, the Acopower didnt work with the solar panel, only with the AC. After contacting the customer service, they identified that the problem came from the Mc4 adapter. They sent me a new one to Haiti and it is now working nicely. I haven't tested it yet enough to see how long it takes to fully charge the battery with the solar panel, but I can say I am very pleased with the customer service and the ergonomy of this product
So far, so good. Super convenient, proper attachments, fairly lightweight. Also nice that the device reads the wattage that you are using.
The product is excellent!!!!! The product charge very quickly by wall, car charger and solar panels (100 Watts) with average 5 hours. I used for mini freezer (58 Watts for 5 hours),and computer. The least, Amazon not have available to Puerto Rico this brand for 700 Watts to 1200 Watts, with be very helpful.
We camp a lot with our RV. I bought this to power our Dish Satellite Receiver. The receiver draws 40w, this is a 400w. Do the math. You don't want to kill your batteries when you dry camp. We mostly us this to power our 12v 22" LED TV. After 5 hours of use, this still shows at least 60%! You'll need a 18v Solar panel. I bought the Moohoo folding 100w panel, which charges the box to 100% in about 3 hours! This box includes the controller and a pure sine wave inverter. A Honda generator will cost you about $1,000 plus the gas and noise. Not cheap, but way less than $1,000! Love this product!
We have charged numerous devices with one charge on the ACOPower Battery.
Easy to use and set up.
I have the 400wh unit and it is awesome! Just received the folding 100wh solar panel to go with it....and they work perfectly together. Thanks
Great customer service, as opposed to the solar panel company, they researched the
solar panel and fabricated the connecting cables so that I can use the panel with their
Very good quality and packed well. The unit charges right up with various power sources. I completely discharged the unit and recharged it using a 100 Watt solar panel. I'm very pleased with the unit and the customer service is second to none. If you have any questions they get back to you right away with an answer that you can fully understand.
